Al Ghurair University residence life offers an environment in which students from different parts of the country have the chance to meet and learn from one another.
Al Ghurair University (AGU) offers full-time undergraduate comfortable residences while they are enrolled at the Dubai campus. Located just minutes from campus and accessed by a convenient residence transportation service, students living in residence have all the amenities of home, including kitchens, laundry facilities, gymnasiums and quiet areas for study. Only those students residing further than 80 km from the campus are eligible to reside in the dormitories.
Based on availability and demand, student housing is subject to priority allocation. Generally, housing priority is afforded to students who are UAE Nationals residing beyond 80 km commuting distance to campus. All housing facilities are managed by on-site staff and priorities and costs are subject to change.
Student housing at Al Ghurair University's Dubai campus is offered both male and female students. Our residences provide the following services for both male and female students:
- Fully functional kitchens (stove, oven, fridge, microwave)
- Laundry services (washing machines & dryer)
- Student Lounge
- Prayer roms
- Learning centers
- Television & wireless internet services
- Transportation to and from campus
- Weekend transportation services
- 24-hour security services
Residence Transportation
Transportation to and from student housing and Al Ghurair University’s Dubai campus is provided based on the academic and examination schedules. Weekend transportation to the student’s home residence and back is provided, leaving on the Thursday evening and returning on the Saturday evening.
Residence transportation comes in the form of an air-conditioned van or bus, depending on capacity requirements.
Daily and weekend transportation is provided if at least four students can be accommodated within a route.
